IEIC, in partnership with WinZO, launched the India Gaming Report 2025 – Consolidating Growth, Driving Innovation, Building Resilience. The report highlights India's gaming industry's strong fundamentals, resilience, and its role as a key driver of digital economy growth, employment, and content creation.

It explores the factors fueling the industry's rapid growth, analyzing domestic and global trends, technological advancements, consumer preferences, and skill development. By examining the industry and user perspectives, the report showcases India's emergence as a global gaming powerhouse.

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce, will host Startup Mahakumbh, the world’s largest startup and innovation event, from April 3-5, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Key focus areas include Gaming, AI, DeepTech & Cybersecurity, Climate Tech, D2C, and FinTech. The 2024 edition was a milestone, drawing over 1,300 exhibitors and 200+ investors, with Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi gracing the event.

The 2025 edition brings a stronger focus on Gaming, with WinZO Games as the lead anchor for the gaming pavilion. This pavilion aims to unite the global gaming ecosystem—incubators, accelerators, investors, developers, creators, and tech startups—under one roof.

WinZO, Game Developer Association Of India (GDAI), the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (Government of India) and Nazara Technologies Limited hosted the 2nd India pavilion at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco in March 2025.

The 2nd edition of the India Gaming Report was launched at GDC’s India Pavilion on March 19, 2025, by Dr. Srikar Reddy (Consul General of India, San Francisco) and WinZO Games. The report provides a deep dive into the key drivers of India's booming online gaming industry and projects its market valuation to reach USD 9.1 billion by 2029E.

The Tech Triumph showcases homegrown brands for global export while supporting Indian developers through skill-building and networking opportunities. IEIC’s backing highlights its commitment to fostering emerging tech ventures and driving growth in India’s dynamic tech industry.

It has empowered Indian game developers to present their talent at major expos like GDC, Gamescom LATAM, and BGS. The third edition, part of the Ministry of I&B's Create in India Challenge Season 1, leads up to WAVES 2025 and the winners also get an opportunity to showcase at GDC 2025 in March 17-21st and Startup Mahakhumbh in April 3rd to 5th, 2025.
